DINING AT WHALESONG LODGE
Our breakfast includes fresh seasonal fruit & thick creamy handmade yoghurt, dried fruit poached in spiced rooibos, homemade granola.
Platters filled with cheese from the Stanford area, cold meats & pâtés.
Whalesong’s finest jams, marmalades & preserves are served with home baked rolls & croissants. Tasty Overberg honey on a warm slice of toast. Happy chicken eggs from a little farm up the road & prepared to your liking.
Enjoy a pot of tea from our large selection (give our healthy local rooibos tea a go), or try our own specially roasted blend of coffee.
For the nights, you do not feel like going out we offer our “mix & match” platters. Choose from a selection of:

- Artisanal cold meats
- Olives & preserves
- Fresh vegetables; and
We endeavour to source ingredients locally with emphases on sustainability, organic salads & vegetables and freshly baked bread.

Our wine list features our favourite wines predominantly from the Overberg area, from Elgin to Elim, including wines from Creation, HPF and Bouchard Finlayson in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Stanford Hills and Raka from Stanford, and Black Oystercatcher from Elim. Our house wine is “B’Bos Wine” from our family vineyard.
We have local speciality grappa, brandy, gin and whisky. New and interesting bottles keep finding us!
We also have craft beer and cider.
